Being Sick really STINKS!!!!

Yep….found out the name of the “plague” that’s been hounding us for nearly 6 weeks now! It’s called Whooping Cough….and it’s nasty, to say the least! Actually, I’m pretty good – it’s the boys who have copped the worst of it. It’s very surprising that the young fella has been quite sick because he’s actually had all of his shots as well as a booster about 18 months ago. First lot of blood tests came back negative for the dreaded disease so we thought we were in the clear…..however…..just got a phone call earlier from the doc’s office asking us all to come in (dum de dum dum…can’t you just hear the ominous music??)…couldn’t tell us over the phone….sort of thought there might be men in white coats waiting to “irradiate” us in one of those special tents they set up for highly infectious notifiable diseases…….
Anyway, right about now we’re all “rattling” ‘cos we’re on so many pills. Hoping to kick this in the butt and be back on track next week.
